The Q1 quarterly luncheon for Senior Counsel members to network, deliberate on professional matters and balance status with service to the Bar and the public. Adoption of key resolutions and updates from the Executive Committee.

Each Senior Counsel admits one or two young lawyers (pupils) for a one-year industrial mentorship programme, providing hands-on experience of legal practice to aid professional development and career growth.

Quarterly general mentorship webinar with presentations from four Senior Counsel, followed by breakout sessions of four groups for further discussions. Topics approved by the Secretariat and Executive Committee.

Each Senior Counsel takes up three to five young lawyers for quarterly structured mentorship sessions, conducted either individually or collectively. Sessions focus on practice development, ethics and professional growth.

In support of the Government's African Landscape Restorative Initiative (15 billion trees by 2032), the SC Bar organises a tree planting day engaging Senior Counsel and young lawyers in environmental advocacy and sustainable land stewardship.

The Q2 quarterly luncheon for all Senior Counsel members. The luncheons serve as a platform for balancing status with service, networking among members, and fundraising for the Bar's community responsibility programmes.

Quarterly meeting of the Executive Committee held in January, April, July and October. Agenda includes review of Bar activities, Secretariat reports, financial updates, and planning for upcoming events.

The Senior Counsel Bar of Kenya announces the launch of its official website at seniorcounselbar.or.ke — a uniform platform outlining information on all members, their profiles, and activities as required by the SC Bar Proposal 2023.

The SC Bar participates in fundraising for the Nairobi Legal Awards (NLA) Endowment Fund — recognising law firms, legal departments and individual lawyers who demonstrate outstanding standards of practice and service delivery.
